Healthy Options, A Best Practice From Mbaoni Village Of Mwangatini CU

Healthy Options, A Best Practice From Mbaoni Village Of Mwangatini CUMzee Shanga’s home is one exemplary home in the adoption and maintenance of healthy seeking behaviours.
Being a village elder in the Provisional Administration setup, he’s a family man, married to 3 wives and a father of six children. He has been a lead example in the uptake of preferred best practices in the health aspect for his family. Living in a traditional ‘Giriama’ setup that generally sums up to an extended family.

His day to day activities are basically taking care of his family’s needs and carrying out his mandated obligations by the Provisional Administration office.
His zeal for development is huge and it has been greatly demonstrated by his participation in issues addressing his family and community’s health. His community has not been left out either; he has spearheaded the founding of Mbaoni Primary School, barely 100 meters from his homestead which he is a committee member. A few of such acts we captured in photos that mince no words, and speak big towards his enthusiasm and commitment.
